Veolia ES Technical Solutions, L.L.C. has an opportunity for an Environmental Specialist in Blaine, MN.

This position completes specialized disposal projects for our customers. Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, labeling, loading & coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Ability to travel is required.

Job Responsibilities:
* Sample and profile hazardous and non-hazardous material according to prescribed policies and procedures
* Acquire knowledge of disposal site capabilities and limitations
* Answer inquiries and suggest solutions for customers
* Comply with and enforce all environmental, health, and safety regulations
* Operate and maintain all equipment for optimum efficiency and effectiveness
Please note that this is NOT a bench or laboratory chemist position. We are looking for candidates who have a background in the sciences and enjoy working on a variety of projects, in the field, and under various types of weather and working conditions.

Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in a science discipline
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to obtain a commercial drivers license (CDL)
* 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred
